Description

The Ponsel turbidity sensor utilises 4 electrode technology to ensure your required water quality readings are accurate and reliable. The sensor offers both SD-12 and RS-485 connectivity.

The Ponsel NTU sensor provides low-cost turbidity monitoring. ISO 7027 compliance (nephelometry).

Water Quality Monitoring Applications

The sensor is being used in a wide range of applications such as, urban wastewater treatment, industrial effluent treatment, surface water monitoring, sea water monitoring and drinking water.

Calibration

The “smart” digital C4E sensor stores calibration and history data within the turbidity sensor. This allows you a plug-and-play system without re-calibration.

Connectivity Options

Thanks to the Universal Modbus RS485 protocol, the Ponsel digital C4E turbidity sensor can be connected to all devices commonly used (Datalogger, Controllers).

Ponsel Turbidity Sensor Features

  • IR optical sensor with optical fibre

  • Measurements: Turbidity

  • Measurement Range: 0-4000 NTU in 4 ranges: 0-50NTU, 0-200 NTU, 0-1000 NTU, 0-4000 NTU

  • Accuracy: <5% of the reading

  • Output options: Modbus RS-485, SDI-12

Ponsel Turbidity Sensor Benefits

  • Based on IR nephelometry / 880 nm (ISO 7027 compliance)
