Description

The Pulp Temperature of the fruit is a good indication if the fruit is ripening and how fast it is ripening.

Model No: PDS-EC-TX-PT

Since the ripening process is an exothermic reaction the fruit’s internal temperature increases as the chemical reaction takes place.

Therefore, by monitoring and controlling the pulp temperature (via the air temperature) you can have a more predictable and repeatable ripening process. Our Pulp Temperature sensor facilitates for this application.

  • Australian made

  • Local support

  • High-quality sensing technology

  • Robust design

  • Water and dust resistant

We offer a range of high-quality Australian-made sensors for use in conjunction with, or independent of, the FreshView® EC12 Environmental Controller. Sensors are available for the detection of ripening gas (ethylene), carbon dioxide, temperature, relative humidity, pulp temperature and oxygen. Each sensor provides an analogue output signal and is housed in an enclosure that provides suitable protection against water and dust ingress (IP651). Sensors can be interfaced with other monitoring and control systems, including those manufactured by third parties.
