Landfill site satisfies EPA and local residents
A landfill organisation came to the attention of the EPA after receiving several dust and odour complaints from a nearby residential estate. This prompted the EPA to stipulate that the organisation must install a weather station that was able to provide up-to-date information on current wind direction/speed and Sigma Theta (wind calculation), and rainfall.
