Launched in August 2006, the General Dynamics GoBook XR-1 is the world's most powerful, multi wireless, rugged notebook, with smallest and lightest footprint available in a fully-rugged platform. Its performance features include:

► Genuine Microsoft^® Windows^® XP Professional SP2

Operating System

► Dedicated ATI M22-CSP/32 external graphics controller

► Removable, shock-mounted, encased, hard drive for data

► Simultaneous support of up to four integrated radios (W-

Duo-Touch^®II Tablet PC

The Duo-Touch II is a rugged, slate Tablet PC, with a user-selectable dual active/passive touch screen that puts the power and flexibility of tablet computing to work in environmentally-challenging situations. Mid-sized, lightweight and ergonomic, the Duo-Touch boasts the rugged and weatherized features you've come to expect from General Dynamics Itronix. With up-to-four integrated wireless options in the same device, including GPS, the Duo-Touch II is ready for any wireless network. Additionally, the Duo-Touch features DynaVue^™ touchscreen display technology that dramatically increases outdoor viewability through contrast ratio rather than trying to overpower sunlight with multiple backlights. MR-1 GoBook^® Rugged Notebook

This next generation rugged, ultra-mobile notebook features the Intel^® Core Solo 1.2 GHz, FSB 533 MHz processor, 512 MB of DDR DRAM, 40 GB SATA HDD (with hard drive heater), outdoor enhanced 5.6" WSVGA, 1 USB, all enclosed in a magnesium case. Perfect for military, police and public safety workers, and a variety of vertical industry mobile users, the GoBook MR-1 can come with an optional display with DynaVue^™ display technology that offers viewing in all lighting conditions, even direct sunlight. It can accomodate up to four wireless radios, with simultaneous WLAN, PAN, GPS and WWAN.
